Abstract

Traditional physics regards electromagnetic waves as a fundamental physical entity and classifies light as a type of electromagnetic wave, which has led to long-standing misunderstandings in the understanding of the nature of light and electromagnetic interactions. Based on the essential analysis of wave propagation, force action, and energy essence, this paper systematically demonstrates that the so-called "electromagnetic waves" are not real physical particles or propagating waves, but only the periodic changes of electric and magnetic fields during the process of mutual conversion between electricity and magnetism. Light, as the fundamental unit of energy in the universe, is essentially a high-frequency photon flow, which is the origin of all matter and energy. This paper redefines the nature of light, clarifies the essential difference between light and mechanical waves, electromagnetic field changes, and fundamentally subverts the traditional electromagnetic wave theory, laying a theoretical foundation for the unified theory of the cosmic cycle.
