The paper demonstrates light is generated by alternating electric fields, challenging traditional electromagnetic theory.
The core proposition of classical electromagnetic theory over the past century holds that alternating electric fields and alternating magnetic fields convert into one another, circulating and propagating infinitely in a vacuum to form waves defined as electromagnetic waves. All radiations including visible light, microwaves and lasers are classified as such waves. This theory further puts forward an absurd deduction: light travels forward propelled by alternating electromagnetic waves. The theory suffers from two irreconcilable fundamental flaws. First, a vacuum contains no conductive media such as wires or coils; isolated alternating fields detached from substantial energy carriers cannot propagate over long distances independently. Second, the theory reverses causal relationships entirely. Conventional academia regards electromagnetic waves as the primary propagating medium and driving force, while light is merely a byproduct generated during the travel of electromagnetic waves. The actual physical sequence is precisely the opposite: alternating electric fields directly excite light. Electromagnetic waves are only transient virtual side effects formed by space perturbations as light travels through space. Far from propelling light, they are produced by the motion of light itself. This paper rigorously demonstrates that alternating electric fields merely act as excitation sources that generate independent primordial energy carriers — light — in a single energy conversion process. Only light can transmit substantial observable energies such as thermal energy and radiation pressure across long distances. The alternating electric and magnetic fields detected along light’s propagation path are transient virtual side effects of space perturbation. The perturbed space instantly rebounds to equilibrium, eliminating all field signals, which are incapable of transmitting independent energy, much less driving light motion. Combining fundamental physical logic, this paper disproves the traditional erroneous model stating that light is composed of cyclically propagating electromagnetic fields and that electromagnetic waves drive light propagation.
