Electric field and magnetic field share charge as their common material source yet they form under different conditions. An electric field emerges as long as charge exists. A magnetic field arises only when charge is in motion. Both electric field and magnetic field must attach to physical charge entities. In absolute void without charge source neither electric field nor magnetic field can exist. When charge moves its original electric field does not disappear and magnetic field is produced simultaneously. Both electric field signal and magnetic field signal can be detected at the same spatial position around a moving charge. This experimental fact proves that the two fields do not transform or generate one another alternately. The classical hypothesis of vacuum mutual excitation of electromagnetic fields misinterprets synchronous field fluctuations caused by source motion as causal excitation between fields. This fundamental logical flaw invalidates the vacuum propagation model built upon such hypothesis. Light belongs to a more primitive energy state entity which exists prior to electromagnetic phenomena. Light is by no means electromagnetic wave nor force carrier particle. The concept of electromagnetic wave is constructed on the wrong assumption of field mutual excitation and cannot describe the intrinsic nature of light. The traditional statement that light is alternating electromagnetic wave generated through mutual excitation conflicts with source related physical principles and experimental facts. The intrinsic nature of light shall be reinterpreted from the perspective of photon energy state.
