In this present study, the edutainment terms are derived from two English words: edutainment = education + entertainment. “Edutainment” refers to an instructional approach that integrates educational content with entertainment elements such as games, storytelling, music, videos, and interactive activities to enhance learning effectiveness. The present study is teacher trainees’ attitudes towards edutainment in education. This study is mainly focused on B.Ed. and M.Ed. teacher trainees’ attitudes towards edutainment in education. The methodology of the study conducted was a quantitative study in which a descriptive survey method was used. The sample size is 85 B.Ed. and M.Ed. teacher trainees selected randomly in Uttar Pradesh for the collection of data. The findings of this study were that teacher trainees’ attitudes towards edutainment in education were 40.00% high, 49.41% moderate, and 10.59% low. Female teacher trainees’ attitudes are greater than male teacher trainees’ attitudes towards edutainment in education; rural and urban teacher trainees have the same attitude towards edutainment in education; and B.Ed. and M.Ed. teacher trainees have the same attitude towards edutainment in education. This study contribution is valuable for educators, curriculum planners, and policymakers who aim to enhance the quality of education.
