Abstract

Largest international cohort of BRCA1/2 carriers diagnosed with breast cancer at 40 years.OS was similar after BCS plus RT versus MS alone.BCS plus RT was associated with more ipsilateral and contralateral breast events than MS alone.Findings support individualised, multidisciplinary loco-regional decision-making in young BRCA carriers.
