Intervention

Covered stents implanted to manage vascular complications (VC) at the access site

Outcome

Long-term survival and clinical outcomehard clinical

Major vascular complications worsen long-term survival after TAVI, but treating access site complications with covered stents does not adversely affect long-term outcomes.

Abstract

Major but not minor VC impact long-term survival after TAVI. Covered stents implanted to manage VC at the access site have no impact on the long-term clinical outcome of TAVI.
