We propose a cosmological framework in which spacetime geometry, matter fields, and gaugeinteractions emerge from a discrete microscopic process of local copying of spatial structure.Defects in this copying process act as physical excitations, giving rise to matter and fields. In thecontinuum limit, the theory admits an effective field description with a dynamical metric, ascalar defect field, and emergent gauge fields. General Relativity is recovered in the linearregime, while deviations appear at large curvature and small scales. The framework naturallyincorporates stochastic fluctuations and provides testable predictions for large-scale structureformation (modifications of σ8σ8and P(k)P(k)), offering a unified origin for dark matter, darkenergy, and cosmic structure as manifestations of copying defects.
