A 7-year-old girl diagnosed with neuroblastoma underwent 123I-MIBG scintigraphy for disease staging following surgery. The scan revealed diffuse uptake of MIBG throughout nearly all skeletal regions, with absence of radiotracer accumulation in the salivary glands, liver, and bladder-findings consistent with a superscan pattern. Following multiple treatment cycles, the patient completed 3 subsequent MIBG scans, all demonstrating a similar distribution of radiotracer, persistently indicative of MIBG superscan.
