Abstract

This issue of the IJPE highlights the continued innovation in excipients. Later in the issue, there is a report from Sarkar et al, that continues the recent focus on exploring the potential of alternative natural sources of excipients. The first article of this issue is dedicated to a series of overviews recounting the exemplary research conducted by recipients of IPEC Foundation’s Graduate Student Award, and summaries of winners of the Patrick DeLuca Emerging Researcher Award which recognizes a beginning career scientist (post Ph.D.) who has demonstrated interest and dedication to the area of excipients.
