The article examines the structure-semantic analysis of complex sentences in the context of contemporary Azerbaijani and explores the existing issues in this field. The main aim of the study is to systematically identify the characteristics of complex syntactic structures at the lexical, morphological, and semantic levels, as well as to highlight the functional and contextual distinctions of sentences. The results indicate that the transformation of complex sentences is not limited to syntactic rules; it also involves their semantic load, pragmatic function, and contextual appropriateness. The present study demonstrates that a proper analysis of complex sentences is essential for a deep understanding of the language and for evaluating the informational structure and communicative purpose of a text.
