This thesis analyzes the psychological, physical, and social factors influencing the process of self-defense in a group of athletes. Sports activity is characterized by high risk, intense competition, stress, and physical exertion, which requires the development of self-preservation skills to ensure the safety of athletes. The thesis highlights the influence of such factors as psychological stability of the athlete, emotional control, stress resistance, motivation level, physical fitness, relationships with the coach, team support, and requirements of the sports environment on the mechanisms of self-defense.
