Magnetometer survey with a cart-mounted array of Bartington Grad-01- 1000L fluxgate gradiometers. The survey detected a network of enclosures of probable Iron Age and Roman date in the south-east of the survey area. Outside of this, a few more sparse examples of possible archaeological remains were detected, including an enclosure and, less certainly, a ring ditch. Medieval to post-medieval ridge and furrow was detected across the majority of the survey area, excluding some areas on the River Great Ouse floodplain.
Walford et al. (Wed,) studied this question.
