Demonstrates improved customer relationship management in SMEs, suggesting enhanced enterprise software solutions.
In the evolving landscape of IT services, effective Customer Relationship Management (CRM) has become a critical factor for sustaining competitive advantage and fostering long-term partnerships. This paper presents CURIEM (CUstomer Relationship Intelligence and Experiences Management), a full-stack web-based CRM application that integrates project management, task tracking, role-based access control, and real-time analytics into a single unified platform. Developed using ReactJS (frontend), Spring Boot (backend), MySQL (database), and AWS S3 (cloud storage), CURIEM addresses seven identified research gaps in existing CRM tools — particularly the absence of an integrated CRM and project management solution for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). A structured survey of 50 IT companies and semi-structured interviews with 10 IT service providers validated the research problem. The system implements JWT-based authentication, automated task scheduling, OTP-based password recovery, and an event calendar module. Testing confirmed consistent performance across unit, integration, role-based access, and cross-browser test cases. Results demonstrate that CURIEM contributes a meaningful innovation to enterprise software systems by unifying client management, project oversight, and team collaboration in one secure, scalable web application.
