Chinese Xinjiang handmade carpets are distinguished by their rich diversity, vibrant patterns, ingenious configurations, and sophisticated designs, with their chromatic arrangements demonstrating distinctive complexity and composite characteristics. As color constitutes the most immediate manifestation of artistic esthetics and cultural essence, this study establishes a standardized chromatic parameter database through CSI color card construction using Dreamweaver software, subsequently creating a digital repository for color deconstruction analysis of Xinjiang handmade carpets. By statistically examining the frequency distribution and probabilistic patterns of ground hues and colors in botanical motifs, this research systematically deciphers the chromatic design principles and esthetic preferences inherent in these textiles. The findings reveal that while primary colors in Xinjiang handmade carpets align with traditional chromatic expressions of Central Plains textiles, their specific combinatorial arrangements exhibit unique attributes. Consequently, Xinjiang handmade carpets coloration manifests deep-rooted Chinese chromatic traditions while assimilating artistic elements from other regions, ultimately forming an intangible cultural heritage characterized by harmonious coexistence, Sino-foreign esthetic integration, and multi-ethnic artistic synthesis. Furthermore, from a cultural perspective, the chromatic presentation of these carpets embodies profound Chinese color philosophy, evidencing the enduring presence of Chinese national community consciousness in Xinjiang since antiquity.
