Investigates bioceramics for bone tissue reconstruction, indicating improved resorbability.
Presented are the results of stereolithographic fabrication of bioceramics with the high-temperature glaserite structure based on mixed‑cation silicon germanium phosphates containing up to 10 different osteoinductive chemical elements occupying sites in the glaserite structure. The complex chemical composition of the solid solutions is required to produce bioceramics with improved properties intended for bone tissue reconstruction. The increased configurational entropy of the solid solutions used allows stabilization of the high‑temperature glaserite modification, which exhibits significant resorbability. Powders with submicron‑sized particles and enhanced sintering activity were prepared by a gel‑polymerization synthesis method.
