Abstract

This study focused on the preschool classroom interaction climate and its level, observed using the Flanders Interaction Observation System (FIACS) in real classroom settings. Here, the classroom climate was estimated based on teacher talk, pupil talk, confusion, teacher response, (ITRR89) which was high in private preschools and the value of the Immediate Teacher Question Ratio (ITQR89) was high in government preschools.
