Abstract SAE 6150, SAE 6150H, CEN ISO 51CrV4, and JIS SUP10 are wrought, medium-carbon chromium-vanadium low-alloy steels. They are typically used in the quenched-and-tempered, austempered, flame-hardened, or induction-hardened condition, and may also be employed in the nitrided condition. These steels are generally intended for the manufacture of small-, medium-, and large-size parts that require a high degree of strength and toughness. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties. It also includes information on high temperature performance and wear resistance as well as casting, forming, heat treating, and joining. Filing Code: SA-883. Producer or source: Heat Treater's Guide Data Sheet.
