Abstract

This study aims to analyse the perceptions and experiences of women working in the Turkish energy sector regarding gender inequality. To this end, in-depth interviews were conducted, and the collected data were analysed using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). Based on the interviews, four superordinate themes were identified: equal opportunities, lack of acceptance, career development, and corporate policies. This study aims to raise awareness of gender equality and foster a more inclusive work environment in the Turkish energy sector.
