Abstract

The eastern rim of the Jordanian basaltic Harrat along 38°E was studied on high resolution Google Earth images for its archeological record. 44 ‘desert kites’ (km-long walls resembling children’s kites from above) were identified and their sizes and interrelations quantified and statistically analyzed.
