What do you do, and how long have you been doing it? I am a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at BRAC University in Dhaka, Bangladesh. I have been teaching there since 2021. Over the years, I have taught both core CSE courses, including programming and other foundational subjects, as well as courses in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, and Human-Computer Interaction. Alongside teaching, I have also been involved in research supervision, and by early 2026, I had worked with more than 30 undergraduate thesis and project groups. Alongside teaching, I maintain an active research practice focused on explainable and trustworthy AI in sociotechnical contexts, including misinformation, public health, digital vulnerability, and how marginalized communities experience technology. I serve as Treasurer of the ACM SIGCHI Dhaka Chapter, a newly joined member of the Asia SIGCHI Committee (ASC), and Assistant Director and Communications Lead of the Human-Centered Computing & Society (HCCS) research group at BRAC University.
