Population

A 54-year-old man, former smoker with hyperlipidaemia, presenting with a large primary cardiac angiosarcoma (grade G3) in the right atrium with invasion of the inferior vena cava.

Intervention

Hybrid therapy comprising partial surgical debulking, chemotherapy (doxorubicin and dacarbazine), and superselective transarterial embolization of the coronary artery feeding the tumor using HydroPearl microspheres (200 µm ± 75 µm) and an Azur circumflex coil.

Outcome

Tumor size reduction and clinical improvementsurrogate
