Case report describes cysticercosis in anterior chamber, indicating implications for secondary glaucoma and surgical management.
We report a rare presentation of cysticercosis cyst in the anterior chamber (AC) in a case of neurocysticercosis. The affected eye presented with a fibrinous uveitis, secondary glaucoma, and a cyst of 3*3 mm in AC. The anterior segment optical coherence tomography (ASOCT) and histopathological characteristics of the cyst are highlighted, and its distinctive hovering and rotatory movements are described. Details of the surgical management are also presented.
