Case report highlights neck pain and sciatica due to Arnold Chiari malformation and Klippel–Feil syndrome.
Arnold Chiari malformation (ACM) and Klippel–Feil syndrome (KFS) are congenital anomalies affecting the cranio-cervical junction. We present the case of a 28-year-old male with a history of neck pain, low backache, and long-standing sciatica, along with jerky nystagmus in both eyes. Neuroimaging (magnetic resonance imaging of the brain, cervical spine, and whole spine screening) revealed features consistent with ACM and KFS.
