Key Points

  • The study aims to challenge the ΛCDM model of cosmic structure formation by proposing a new theory of gravity.
  • Proposed a unified theory incorporating Superfluid Vacuum Theory and Scalar-Tensor-Vector Gravity.
  • Analyzed gravitational engineering using negative-index metamaterials and high-Tc superconductors.
  • Investigated the concept of hydrodynamic slip surfaces to reduce inertial mass.
  • Observations by JWST indicate that classical dark matter models fail to explain high-redshift galaxies.
  • Proposed theories offer alternative explanations for gravitational phenomena beyond dark matter.
  • Identified practical engineering routes that may lead to manipulating gravitational effects.

Abstract

Recent observations by the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) of massive high-redshift galaxies (z > 10) have falsified the timeline of the ΛCDM model, suggesting that gravitational structure formation does not rely on the slow accretion of Dark Matter. This paper proposes a unified alternative: Superfluid Vacuum Theory (SVT) combined with Scalar-Tensor-Vector Gravity (STVG). We posit that space is a superfluid medium and gravity is a hydrodynamic pressure gradient. Furthermore, we identify a pathway for gravitational engineering using negative-index metamaterials and high-Tc superconductors to create "hydrodynamic slip surfaces" within the vacuum, effectively reducing inertial mass.
