Preregistration of seven tests aims to confirm or falsify the Q-state framework in inquiry.
This paper identifies a theoretical object, the operator chain Ω, Δ, Φ, Ψ acting on configurations over a six-state interrogative substrate (who, what, when, where, why, how; WWWWHW), and argues that this object has been seen in pieces by major theorists across the last century without being named whole. The object is the Q-state: a question treated as a first-class entity with internal structure analogous to a quantum information unit, exhibiting superposition before asking, probabilistic collapse on asking, non-commutative measurement order, interference between combined orientations, entanglement under shared context, and recursive radial generation. The framework, Geometric Inquiry Theory, names this object and specifies its substrate. Seven witnesses, Friston, Shannon, Busemeyer, Koestler, Hintikka, Markov, and Noether, are shown to have each captured one face of the same object. A preregistered seven-test battery is specified to falsify or confirm the framework's central claim that questions exhibit the formal properties of a quantum-like state system.
