An inclusive search for a low-mass resonance decaying to τ -lepton pairs is presented, covering20–60 GeV. The analysis uses proton-proton collisions at √s = 13.6 TeV, corresponding to 61.9 fb−1 recorded by CMS in 2022–2023. A dedicated high-rate data stream and a novel low-pT hadronic tau reconstruction algorithm enhance sensitivity to previously inaccessible regions. No significant excess is observed. The Υ → τ +τ − process is observed, with a measured cross section of σ = 3.5 ± 0.71(stat) ± 0.71(syst) nb.
