Energy resources of Kazakhstan: as a factor in the economic and energy security of the country

The relevance of the article is determined by global trends, such as a decrease in the use of non-renewable energy resources with an increase in electricity consumption and reforms in the energy policy of Kazakhstan. The article is devoted to the analysis of the mining industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan by types of economic activity with a focus on energy resources and their structure in different regions of the country. The article discusses the main trends in the extraction of energy resources, such as coal, oil, gas and uranium, taking into account regional characteristics. An assessment of the role of the mining sector in the country's economy and their role in the economic and energy security of the country is given.
