Evaluates effectiveness of banking products for SMEs, suggesting optimization of financial strategies.
The article evaluates the effectiveness of implementing new banking products for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) amid economic instability and sanctions pressure. The author proposes a comprehensive methodology integrating traditional financial metrics (NPV, IRR) with risk-oriented approaches (VaR, scenario analysis) and qualitative criteria (customer satisfaction, digital maturity). Using IDEF0 modeling, the study thoroughly examines the development and implementation process of banking products, identifying key stages and areas of responsibility. The methodology was tested through a comparative analysis of two SME lending products, revealing the advantages of long-term solutions with moderate interest rates over high-risk short-term products. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the development of an original mathematical evaluation model that accounts for industry-specific and regional SME characteristics. The findings hold significant practical value for banks, enabling optimization of product strategies, risk management, and customer-centric approaches. The conclusion provides recommendations on digitalization, flexible product architecture, and behavioral scoring development.
