Analysis of application of BIM technologies in the design of residential complexes in Kyrgyzstan

At the present stage, over the past decades, the priority of architectural and design works has been increasing. The designed buildings are first created in the form of virtual models using graphic editors of computer-aided design with use of new innovative and digital technologies. Comparing the objects constructed in different periods of time, one can trace an entire era and the evolution of creation, development and improvement of the architecture of buildings and structures. In this regard, this article is dedicated to issues where application of modern methods for development of architectural projects, design and engineering developments based on modern information technologies, computer virtual modeling and digital calculations in architectural and design activities, which today has become an integral part of the quality of the works performed. Based on the research, a comparative analysis of the traditional and innovative method of project development is made, the implemented examples of which are demonstrated in residential buildings. Examples of residential complexes designed using BIM technologies with applications of graphic and computational design programs are given.
