Examines wormhole models in modified gravity, suggesting their viability through energy conditions and stability assessments.
This study examines the feasibility of traversable wormholes governed by a particular dark matter density profile within the framework of non-minimal gravity in the presence of an electromagnetic field. We utilize the Morris-Thorne spacetime, which defines the wormhole's geometric structure, to formulate the anisotropic gravitational field equations under a conventional gravity model. To determine the shape functions, we apply both constant and variable redshift constraints, ensuring that these functions satisfy the necessary conditions and link two asymptotically flat spacetime regions. The presence of wormholes is validated by fulfilling energy conditions, a consistency we confirm through graphical representations. Additionally, we evaluate the active gravitational mass and complexity factor for each solution, noting that the latter exhibits a clear decline toward zero as it moves away from the wormhole throat. Furthermore, we assess the stability of the resulting models using multiple approaches, demonstrating that the proposed wormhole structures meet critical criteria, thereby affirming their viability within the considered modified theoretical framework.
