This paper reports an independent replication of the Cosmicflows-4 environmental peculiar-velocity signal using the 6dFGSv survey. Across multiple statistical tests, galaxies in void-like environments are found to exhibit systematically larger peculiar-velocity amplitudes than galaxies in denser cosmic-web regions, strengthening the case for a reproducible environmental imprint in nearby peculiar-velocity fields.
