This study aimed to analyze injuries during elementary school physical education classes that resulted in injury compensation, clarify trends in injury occurrence, and provide guidance for developing measures for prevention. The analysis specifically targeted injuries in which the type of physical activity was reported as “other” or left blank. A total of 82 cases relevant to the study's objectives were extracted from the 274 cases listed in the “School Injury Case Search Database” published on the Japan Sport Council website.
