Rules out hypotension as cause of transient hANP diuresis; leaves open alternative mechanisms for study in healthy subjects.
Does concomitant infusion of norepinephrine prevent the evanescent diuretic effect of prolonged hANP infusion in healthy men?
The transient diuretic effect of prolonged hANP infusion is not caused by its hypotensive action, as counterbalancing blood pressure with norepinephrine does not sustain diuresis.
