Two patients with second-degree A V block and narrow QRS were studied by His bundle electro- graphy. The first patient had Mobitz type II A V block on the standard electrocardiogram but showed 2:i AV conduction when His bundle electrograms were recorded. Intravenous atropine increased the atrial rate but 2: i A V conduction persisted. The block was localized distal to His bundle activity and was thought to be in the distal His bundle segment.
