Focusing on specification of the ground and train speed, we analyzed trends of overall (OA) values and frequency characteristics of Shinkansen high-speed train-induced ground vibrations in viaduct section using numerical simulations. We also investigated on simple prediction methods to represent the results of the numerical simulations. The analysis about trend shows that the OA values increase with increasing basement depth, increasing train speed, decreasing distance from track center and decreasing N-value. Proposed polynomial fitting and artificial neural network (ANN) models are almost in good agreement with training data and verification data calculated by the numerical simulations.
