5-Fluorocytosine5-Fluorocytosine (Flucytosine; 5-FC) is a commercially available, synthetic antifungal agent. The drug has been of value in treatment of certain cases of visceral candidiasis, cryptococcal meningitis, chromomycosis and torulopsosis.
