Demonstrates effective enantioselective synthesis of allylic ethers in a controlled reaction, indicating promising applications in organic chemistry.
We report a palladium-catalyzed asymmetric hydrobenzylation reaction of alkoxy- and amidoallenes with aryl acetic acids by in situ forming labile acetal-type intermediates, and a diverse array of enantioenriched allylic ethers and amides bearing a homobenzylic stereogenic center are finally afforded after decarboxylation.
