It is often desirable to take advantage of the sensitivity of switch-back or double-reversal trials when doing research with dairy cattle. Basically, however, these designs permit the comparison of only two treatments, and this has imposed some limitation on their usefulness. The present paper is devoted to switch-back designs that permit comparisons of three or more treatments.
