A phenomenological computer simulation model closely mimicked experimental results of cardiac muscle mechanical behavior during contraction and relaxation phases.
The developed computer simulation model accurately replicates the mechanical behavior of cardiac muscle during contraction and relaxation.
A model is simulated in the computer to represent mechanical behaviour of cardiac muscle during isometric and isotonic phases of contraction. and physiological and isotonic-isometric sequenced phases of relaxation. For different afterloads and for changing initial muscle length. Force-velocity-length and time relations together with the active state curve are shown to verify the experimental results. Effects of relaxation load are analyzed in terms of phase-plane curves. The model although phenomenological, very closely mimics cardiac muscle experiments.< <ETX xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">></ETX>

Ülgen et al. (2003) studied Cardiac muscle mechanical behavior. Computer simulation model vs. Experimental results was evaluated on Force-velocity-length and time relations. A phenomenological computer simulation model closely mimicked experimental results of cardiac muscle mechanical behavior during contraction and relaxation phases.
