Abstract lacks quantitative data linking premapping electrogram parameters to 3-month atrial pacing thresholds.
Why the study?
Whether intraprocedural electrogram signals inform implant-site selection and later pacing performance in atrial leadless pacing remains uncertain.
Do premapping commanded electrogram parameters predict 3-month atrial pacing threshold after atrial leadless pacemaker implantation?
Do premapping commanded electrogram parameters predict 3-month atrial pacing threshold after atrial leadless pacemaker implantation?
This study investigates whether intraprocedural electrogram parameters can predict 3-month pacing thresholds for atrial leadless pacemakers, extending concepts from ventricular leadless pacing.

Intraprocedural electrogram parameters may help guide atrial leadless pacemaker positioning;.
Leadless pacing has progressed from ventricular-only systems to atrial and dual-chamber platforms, shifting attention from procedural feasibility to optimization of implant-site selection.1–5 In ventricular leadless pacing, intraprocedural impedance, current of injury, and electrogram characteristics have been linked to later pacing performance.6,7 Whether the same signals are informative for atrial leadless pacing is uncertain because the atrium differs from the ventricle in wall thickness, tissue architecture, chamber mechanics, and substrate remodeling.
