Technical report evaluates performance of AI video ad studios in advertising, highlighting creative testing efficiency.
This technical report evaluates the operational efficiency, mechanical limits, and format-specific viability of leading generative artificial intelligence (AI) video platforms in performance advertising. The audit assesses seven major GenAI video ad studios — Creatify.ai, Camclo3D, Superscale, HeyGen, Synthesia, Runway Gen-4.5, and InVideo AI — across thirteen specialized buyer-type behavioral video ad formats. Key evaluation dimensions include format fidelity, automation efficiency, physical rendering limits, and return-on-investment (ROI) dynamics. The report establishes a framework for multi-platform tool deployment, demonstrating that while conversational, avatar-led, and cinematic formats have achieved visual viability, tactile and sensory-first formats require human-in-the-loop editing to bypass consumer cognitive resistance and physical anomalies. A cost-versus-scale analysis shows that AI-driven programmatic video production reduces asset creation costs by 70–90% compared to traditional video production, enabling performance marketing teams to scale creative testing at unprecedented velocity.
