In this second contribution to the series, Professor Tokio Shikama (1912–1978) of the Geological Institute, Yokohama National University, reports additional noteworthy marine gastropods from southwestern Japan, including material from Enshū-nada, off Kōchi Prefecture, Kikai Island, Miyako Island, Okinawa Island, and related localities. The paper introduces several new taxa, including Gyriscus hayashii sp. nov., Lampusia kikaiensis sp. nov., Latiaxis (Babelomurex) spinaerosae sp. nov., Latiaxis (Babelomurex) nakayasui sp. nov., Conus (Chelyconus) wistaria sp. nov., Conus (Pionoconus) tosaensis sp. nov., Conus (Rhizoconus) sazanka sp. nov., and Hermes kawanishii sp. nov. The article is of particular relevance to historical studies of western Pacific Coralliophilinae because it includes the original descriptions of two Babelomurex taxa.
