Shows efficient synthesis of pyrazolopyranopyrimidine derivatives using a magnetic catalyst, highlighting its reusability.
In this study, Mg0.7Zn0.3Fe2O4 magnetic nanoparticles were synthesized and evaluated as an efficient and recyclable catalyst for the preparation of pyrazolopyranopyrimidine derivatives. The nanocatalyst was characterized by XRD, FT-IR, TEM, EDX, and VSM analyses. The magnetic properties of Mg0.7Zn0.3Fe2O4 facilitate its simple separation from the reaction mixture using an external magnet. The catalyst could be reused for five consecutive cycles without a significant loss of its catalytic activity. The presented methodology offers advantages such as short reaction times, high product yields, easy catalyst recovery, and reusability.
