Demonstrates sensorless control effectiveness in limited angle torque motors, indicating improved precision in applications.
This paper focuses on limited angle torque motor (LATM) and discusses the frontier progress in control and application fields. Limited angle torque motor, motion angle is usually less than ±180°, because of its simple structure, convenient control, high reliability, torque density and other advantages, in precision servo systems, such as optical scanning, aerospace and simple switching valve and other fields widely used. Firstly, the mathematical model of LAMT is introduced, secondly, the double closed-loop control based on proportional resonance (PR) control is adopted, which has the advantage of no static error for AC signal with specific frequency, and is more targeted than traditional PI controller in AC control system. Then the inertia of motor is identified by model reference adaptation, and Lomberg observer is designed to observe the position of motor based on the identified inertia to realize sensorless control of motor. Finally, the feasibility of this viewpoint is verified by simulation.
