With the trend of museum exhibition objects shifting from objects to objects and their containing information as well as increased social demand for culture in museums, museum exhibitions should not only pay attention to the dissemination of knowledge, but also form a relationship of interaction, coexistence and internalization with the audience. Based on the order of time and space, Xi'an Museum's A Time of Plenty: Life of a Tang County Princess created narrative line about historical event and formed the visual field of multi-level spatial narration, broke through the physical boundary of the exhibition to expand the content in depth, and displayed the characteristics of “participation”, “experience” and “sharing” at a deep level. Strengthening narrative and evaluation of museum exhibition research is helpful to improve the display level of museum exhibition, stimulate museum internal impetus, and promote the high-quality development of museums.
