This randomized trial examines downward drift in response surfaces, suggesting implications on acoustic floor interpretations.
CDN-185 extends the velocity-resolved signed response surface from CDN-184 by adding a fresh \(θ30\) surface and comparing it to the imported \(θ20\) surface. The signed response peak drifts downward for all three \(ξ\) values, matching the direction of the CDN-179 finite-time convergence branch. This supports the response-surface drift interpretation of the acoustic-floor approach, but two time slices do not yet derive the asymptotic floor. D9 remains open.
