Experimental demonstration of a metasurface platform enhancing vectorial amplitude and phase control for high-resolution applications.
Metasurfaces have brought about a revolution in the field of photonics, by virtue of their ability to realize subwavelength‐scale light manipulation. However, existing strategies are inherently constrained in simultaneously manipulating simultaneous vectorial polarization, amplitude, and phase control, which is critical for applications in high‐resolution nano‐printing and high‐security optical encryption. Herein, we propose and demonstrate experimentally a metasurface‐based platform that enables fundamental advances in vectorial complex‐amplitude field for nano‐printing and holography. Our work successfully demonstrates two different functional schemes via circularly polarized synthetic metasurface: the first realizes 12‐channel linear polarized vector holographic display together with two‐channel circularly polarized holographic encryption. And the second integrated with grayscale nano‐printing and holographic indicators by utilizing 24 vector polarization channels. Through the innovative approach of circular polarizations decoupling, this work establishes a novel paradigm for multi‐dimensional information security, opening up new avenues for high‐performance anti‐counterfeiting, encryption, and lithography technologies.
