Analytical study examines cultural exchange and challenges between China and Saudi Arabia, highlighting opportunities for cooperation.
With the growing relations between China and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, cultural exchange has become one of the most important means of strengthening the historical ties and strategic cooperation between the two countries. In this context, Saudi Vision 2030 and the Belt and Road Initiative have played an important role in accelerating cultural exchange between China and Saudi Arabia. Saudi Vision 2030 has become a major driver in enhancing the Kingdom’s relations with the world, especially with China, which is regarded as one of the world’s leading economic and cultural powers. At the same time, the Belt and Road Initiative provides an important opportunity to promote cultural cooperation between China and the countries of the Middle East, including Saudi Arabia. This study aims to examine cultural exchange between China and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia within the framework of Saudi Vision 2030 and the Belt and Road Initiative by analyzing the current state of such exchange and exploring the challenges it faces. It also seeks to highlight the opportunities offered by these strategic initiatives for strengthening future cultural cooperation. The study focuses on the key areas that contribute to this exchange, including education, arts, media, and tourism, while also analyzing the major obstacles that may hinder such cooperation and possible ways to overcome them in light of the cultural and strategic aspirations of both countries.
