Key result
Wumei Pill improves vascular endothelial function in obese mice by decreasing inflammation and oxidative stress.
Why the study?
To investigate the effect and mechanism of Wumei Pill on vascular endothelial function in obese mice and on ox-LDL-induced vascular endothelial injury.
Does Wumei Pill improve vascular endothelial function in obese mice and ox-LDL-induced endothelial cell injury?
Does Wumei Pill improve vascular endothelial function in obese mice and ox-LDL-induced endothelial cell injury?
Wumei Pill improves vascular endothelial function in obese mice and protects against ox-LDL-induced endothelial injury by reducing inflammation and oxidative stress.

ZHAO et al. (2026) studied Obesity-induced vascular endothelial dysfunction. Wumei Pill (WMP) vs. Model group (saline) and ox-LDL group was evaluated on Body weight, blood lipids, MDA, catalase, inflammatory factors, and cell proliferation/apoptosis (p=<0.05). Wumei Pill improved vascular endothelial function in obese mice and reduced ox-LDL-induced injury by decreasing inflammation and oxidative stress (P<0.05).
