Shows the effectiveness of the DNB Knowledge Graph in enhancing digital humanities research, indicating improved data access.
The German National Library (DNB) operates the DNB SPARQL Service, powered by the QLever SPARQL engine, providing standardized RDF-based semantic queries over national bibliographic and authority data dating back to 1913. Fully compliant with the SPARQL 1.1 standard, the service supports both automated and manual queries through its API. This poster illustrates how the DNB Knowledge Graph, currently comprising over 1.27 billion triples, connects to the NFDI's Knowledge Graph Infrastructure (KGI4NFDI) and supports the Text+ consortium's mission of aggregating and disseminating language- and text-based research data. It demonstrates how open knowledge graph technology enables effective knowledge transfer across networks, enriches authoritative data for multiple domains, and builds infrastructures of engagement for collaborative and citizen science-oriented digital humanities research.
